People First

The Columbus Area People First Chapter is a program for adults age 18 and up with developmental disabilities and is part of a state advocacy organization. The group meets every third Monday night from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. The location varies depending on the activity. The meetings are conducted by board members that have been elected by their peers and an advisor. Members also have the opportunity to attend the State People First Convention.

People First helps adults with developmental disabilities learn how to speak out and have confidence to see themselves as PEOPLE FIRST ~ THEIR DISABILITY SECOND.
