The Arc of Platte County is a membership organization of people with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families, dedicated human service professionals and interested citizens. We are a non-profit 501c(3) agency of the Columbus Area United Way. We are incorporated in the state of Nebraska, providing various programs and services to persons who experience developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families.
We have been a vital part of Platte County and surrounding communities since 1990. We were founded to serve a growing segment of our community in need of advocacy efforts for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families. We have continued to grow with the help of our generous donors and volunteers that make our mission possible. Through all these years our purpose remains the same, advocating for the rights of others.
